Sweet’n’Sour Sauce makes a great dipping sauce and is a great addition to a meal to add a tangy flavour. My Sweet’n’Sour Sauce is quick and easy to make and has a thick smooth consistency. Give it a try, I’m sure you will love it.
Ingredients:
2 cups bone broth
1 large orange juice only (1 cup) or mandarin
1 T chilli flakes
2 T rice malt syrup
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tsp arrowroot flour mixed with 1 T water
Method:
In a medium sized saucepan over medium heat add all ingredients (except for arrowroot flour mix) bring to the boil and then reduce heat to low, stirring occasionally for about 2 mins, then add in arrowroot mix and keep stirring until sauce thickens. Remove from heat.
Great to pour over my Sweet’n’Sour Pork Stuffed Capsicums.
Be Well
