My Warming Winter Porridge is a nourishing meal to help keep you satiated longer. I love porridge β it brings delight and enjoyment to every mouthful and will keep you warm and cozy through these cold winter days. I love to add the sweet aromatics of vanilla bean which makes my porridge absolutely irresistible. I also like to add a bit of crunch with Buckinis.
What are Buckinis? I hear you ask.
Well Buckinis are made with Buckwheat. Buckwheat, despite its name, is not actually wheat and is gluten free. In fact it is not even a grain, it is a fruit. It belongs to the strawberry family!
Buckwheat alkalises our bodies, and is a rich source of protein, rutin(antioxidant) and manganese.
