Thirst Quencher Smoothie

Light, hydrating, and full of vibrant green goodness, the Thirst Quencher Smoothie is your ultimate go-to when you need a refreshing pick-me-up. With crisp cos lettuce, juicy apple, zingy ginger, and the cooling blend of cucumber and lemon, this smoothie is like a mini spa day in a glass. The tropical twist of pineapple and a subtle warmth from cinnamon round it out perfectly — and the coconut water? It ties everything together with its natural electrolytes for next-level hydration.

Whether you’ve just finished a workout, spent a sunny day outdoors, or simply need a reset after a big meal, this smoothie lives up to its name.

Nutritional Benefits

Pineapple is rich in vitamin C and contains bromelain, an enzyme that supports digestion and has anti-inflammatory properties (1).

Ginger contains gingerol, known for its powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects (2). It may also aid digestion and boost immunity.

Coconut Water
Naturally hydrating (3), coconut water is packed with electrolytes like potassium and magnesium. It’s a great option for replenishing fluids and supporting muscle function.

Ingredients

(serves 2)

  • 6 cos lettuce leaves
  • 1 apple
  • Knuckle-size piece of fresh ginger
  • 1/2 cucumber
  • 1 lemon (peeled)
  • 1/2 cup frozen or fresh pineapple (frozen gives it an extra chill)
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 cups coconut water

Preparation

*Tip: To ensure that you get a smooth textured smoothie, it is recommended to blend your greens with the liquid first, then add the remaining ingredients.

Method

Combine all ingredients in a blender and process until smooth and creamy. Pour into your chosen glass and enjoy!
